The Brand Union Jakarta have won two new important projects in March: Aerowisata and Mayora. The projects will add another dimension to the consultancy's already broad and impressive portfolio, since its inception in early 2007. The first major task is to rebrand Aerowisata, one of Indonesia’s largest hospitality services group. The company is a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia, the country’s national flag carrier. Aerowisata is mostly known for its in-flight catering service, yet over the years have expanded into hotels, industrial services, tour and travel, ground transportation, and soon into retail F&B.

Educated at The University of British Columbia and Capilano College, Nancy has over 17 years of design experience with established firms including Rethink Communications, Karacters Design Group/DDB Canada, Suburbia Studios, Ken Koo Creative, Word Communications and Nancy Wu Design. She is a Professional Member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, a blog writer, a guest critic, a design competition judge, and a sessional typography instructor at Emily Carr University. Nancy's talents have been recognized by Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Lotus Awards, GDC/BC Salaza Awards, HOW Magazine, Identity Magazine, New York Festivals, Step-By-Step Magazine and GDC/Graphax Awards. Her design has also appeared in 33 international design publications to date. Projects include work for Earis Restaurants, Finning International, Inspired Magazine (Sobeys), Offsetters, Sugoi, Sun-Rype, Canwest/The Vancouver Sun, Westcoast Air & YWCA Vancouver. Nancy resides in Vancouver, Canada, with her origami artist husband and illustrator son.

ANDREW SABATIER, UK

I'm a graphic designer specializing in corporate brand identity origination and design with experience across various industry sectors. I work in the context of brand consultancies and as an independent consultant. I have strong conceptual skills capable of grasping complex positioning strategies and finding brand identity solutions to enhance brand strategy. My creative skills are best suited to new brand projects and I specialize in a brandmark-led approach. This means I work at my best on projects which require rich and robust brand stories concentrated into the fewest elements, beginning with but not exclusive to the brand's primary expression, the brandmark.

HENRICUS KUSBIANTORO

Born in Bandung, Indonesia in 1973. Henricus Kusbiantoro plays a key and pivotal role for designing brand expression of The Global (RED) Campaign of Bono U2 for AIDS in Africa launched in World Economic Forum 2006, Davos-Switzerland. Henricus Kusbiantoro joined headquarter of Landor Associates-San Francisco in early 2006 as senior art director in branding and corporate identity. He is also an adjunct instructor of directed research studies at Graduate Graphic Design Department in Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

Henricus’ works have been covered in LOGO by Laurence King Publisher 2007–London, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME and Fortune Magazine and won 2007 D&AD Awards London–Merit Award and New York’s Art Director Club (ADC) for branding design category. He has worked on designing identities for numerous prestigious global clients and small non profit organizations but never forget to express his graphic experiments in every medium included independent street posters. One of his urban serial posters were dedicated for the Jogja-Central Java Earthquake public awareness and demonstrated in the streets of New York City and San Francisco in June 2006.
